A photograph of O. D. Bixler speaking at an event in Japan. Bixler, an American missionary from Churches of Christ, arrived in Japan in 1918. Bixler stayed in Japan until the outbreak of World War 2 in 1939 and returned following the war to work there until his death in 1968.
