"Brother Wolfe, [this] is a photo of my wife and I where we serve. M. P. Gutierrez" A photograph of the Gutierrez family who were ministers in Mexico. The picture was sent to John F. Wolfe, a minister from Churches of Christ who lived in El Paso but worked closely with Mexican churches. At the time, the Mexican government had strict restrictions regarding foreign missionaries in Mexico, thus Churches of Christ in Mexico were largely an indigenous movement.
