Abstract
What does Paul mean when he writes, "if you confess with your mouth that 'Jesus Christ is Lord' and you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"? Church history reveals that the blood of the martyrs is the seed for the church's growth. While the history of the Chinese church is one of persecution, it is also a history of vibrant revival, mission movements, and house churches.
