Abstract

Christianity is shrinking in the Middle East. Although Coptic and Lebanese Christians are relatively large, most groups such as the Church of Christ have few adherents. Oppression is forcing the Syrian Orthodox Church to flee Iraq. Explore how recent political protests present opportunities and challenges.
