Description

"This old lady 70 years old, that was a catholic, was converted and baptized by Juan Monroy in a river of Malaga, Spain, on 27-3-66. As the river was far and there is no road she was riding a donkey." A Spanish woman riding a donkey who was converted to Churches of Christ by Juan Monroy, American missionary from Churches of Christ. During this period of time in the history of Churches of Christ, many members of this Christian tradition held an "exclusivist" view of themselves, believing that Churches of Christ represented the purest form of Christianity and thus the only acceptable form of the faith.
