Description

"J. C. Moore" J. C. Moore was an American business man from a cappella Churches of Christ who was instrumental in the work of Otis Gatewood and Roy Palmer in post-war Germany. His primary responsibility was that of "liason" between the church and the German and the Occupational governments. His work made it possible for the Churches of Christ to be legally recognized in Germany and to receive the support of both governments through the years. The truck Moore is pictured next to is left over German Army Equipment that the government allowed the missionaries to buy at highly discounted rates.
