Special importance is attached to this dress in wedding or their national functions. This was the first and the only time I wore this head dress.) Prenshon Kharlukhi, Shillong, Assam, preacher of the gospel." Prenshon Kharlukhi was the first preacher, indigenous or foreign, in Northeastern India associated with Churches of Christ. From 1939 to 1959 he planted 11 congregations in Northern India with a total membership of 250.
