Scope and Content Note
The Pennisi papers contain the notes, sermons, class materials, correspondence and records generated and used by John Pennisi in the course of his career as a minister and missionary. The set retains his arrangement and original order as well as original folders. The folder-level inventory utilizes his folder description, sometimes in English and sometimes in Portuguese. In some cases the processors described the contents of unlabelled folders. In these cases the supplied descriptions are placed within [square brackets].
