Mission
Introduction to This Issue...
The missionary enterprise is the very heart of the Church's work. This is the message of this issue of Mission.
It is difficult to conceive how a church could consider itself a New Testament Church and not be vitally concerned and involved in the preaching of the gospel to the whole world. Other aspects of our task (such as benevolent work or edification) must ultimately result in a greater outreach of the gospel if they are to attain their purpose. The task is one both for the congregation as a whole and for the individual.
In this issue we present articles on motivation, on some examples, and on some of the problems and opportunities in doing mission work today.
We need to involve the whole church in a scriptural and practical way in missionary work.
