Description
"This is a group of Catholics that attended the baptism in Ibiza on 25 May 66. All of them heard the Gospel for the first time." A local group of residents from the city of Ibiza, Spain pose for a group photograph after witnessing American missionaries from Churches of Christ baptize new converts. During this period of time in the history of Churches of Christ, many members of this Christian tradition held an "exclusivist" view of themselves, believing that Churches of Christ represented the purest form of Christianity and thus the only acceptable form of the faith.
