Description
"July 1967. Madrapakkam. 10 Christian Church preachers obeying the Lord in baptism." An American missionary from Churches of Christ baptizes ten Indian men who were preachers for the Christian Church. During this period of time in the history of Churches of Christ, many members of this Christian tradition held an "exclusivist" view of themselves, believing that Churches of Christ represented the purest form of Christianity and thus the only acceptable form of the faith.
