Dong (far right), an indigenous Korean preacher for Churches of Christ, stands next to George Henry Pryor Showalter (second from right) outside of the Firm Foundation Publishing House in Austin, Texas. Showalter was a long-time editor of the Firm Foundation, one of the most influential periodicals in Churches of Christ during the twentieth century. S. K. Dong and were active in mission efforts in Korea.
