Scope and Content Note
This collection contains the programs, financial documents, correspondence, and photographs associated with the Blue Ridge Encampment in North Carolina. This collection also includes papers, sermons on cassette tape, video cassettes, and audio reels, pamphlets, directories, agendas, photos, and minutes from meetings. The collection is housed in 7 boxes.
Biographical Note
The Blue Ridge Encampment began meeting in 1951 at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The first directors of the camp were A.R. Holton and J.W. Brents. The camp focuses on spiritual messages, singing, fellowship, and recreational activities.
