This collection contains some of the sermon notes and outlines of Frank Lucius Cox. The collection also contains a book from his personal library. These papers are housed in 1 box.

Biographical Note

Frank L. Cox was born in 1895 in Farmersville, Texas. He attended Abilene Christian College from 1913-1914 and graduated from Thorps Spring Christian College in 1917. He began preaching in Baird, Texas in 1913. Along with a career as a preacher, he was also a prolific writer. He wrote many books, was a staff writer for Gospel Advocate, and served as editor for The Spotlight and Minister's Monthly. He served as an elder at Glenwood Church of Christ in Tyler, Texas from 1959 until his death in 1978.
