Biographical Note
Michael Moore Young was born May 13, 1870 in Elgin, Texas, located in Bastrop County. He was first married to Bertha E. Johnson in 1894; she died in 1904. His second wife was Myrtly J. Gipson, who died in 1948. He began preaching in 1902, and kept preaching throughout his life. He preached in Spur, Texas; Matador, Texas; Abernathy, Texas; Fort Collins, Colorado; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Holliday, Texas; Andrews, Texas; Groom, Texas; and Clayton, New Mexico. He died in 1955
