Scope and Content Note
Membership directories and financial ledgers detailing ministry income and expenses, building projects and special programs, 1945-1965. Of particular interest is a fund dedicated to the financial support of missionary Hettie Lee Ewing in her retirement at Gunter Home in Gunter, Texas.
Biographical Note
Central and Northside Churches of Christ were located at 910 Cypress Street, Abilene, Texas. Highland Church of Christ (Abilene, Texas), owner of the property in 2016, donated to the Center for Restoration Studies the records as they were still in the church building, several years after the closure of the former congregations.

Ledger books are housed in three acid-free boxes; one book was photographed by McGarvey Ice and discarded due to the presence of mold.
