Frank Grimes was an editor for the Abilene Reporter News.

This collection has been reboxed, but remains in the order in which it was found in University Manuscripts.

Box #1 Contains poetry, essays, and editorials written by Grimes. Also includes material related to the death of his son, Rudyard K. Grimes, letters sent to his wife following his own death, and family photos. Box #2 Contains a scrapbook of Grimes’ work submitted for the Pulitzer Prize, folders of his articles, a script for a play, and a plaque presented to Grimes by the citizens of Abilene. Box #3 Contains scrapbooks of editorials and letters written by Grimes Four volumes of Southern Kith and Kin by Jewel Davis Scarborough have been removed for cataloging.
