This collection contains photos, newspapers articles, programs, and correspondence related to Collier's career teaching theater and drama.
Biographical Note
Dr. Gaylan Jane Collier earned a BA from Abilene Christian College, MA from the State University of Iowa, and later a PhD from the University of Denver. She taught communications, theater, and drama at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Abilene Christian College (1950-1960), Idaho State University, Sam Houston State College, and Texas Christian University.
Abilene Christian University Special Collections and Archives also holds the Collier Collection of printed materials which primarily came from Dr. Collier’s holdings.
