Two boxes of Billy "Bill" Dale Dillon's sermon notes and notebooks.
Biographical Note
The following biographical note excerpted and adapted from his obituary:
“He was and [sic] minister for many years with the Church Of Christ. Bill felt called into the ministry at the young age of 15 and graduated from University Freed Hardeman with a Bachelors's degree. Bill served as a minister in Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, and Arkansas.
Bill wrote several books; The Gospel Gems in two volumes; Bible Basics; Studies In Christian Growth; he edited The Gospel Gleaner and authored numerous tracts. In addition to his writings, Bill was a popular speaker, preaching congregational meetings as well as the host for One Gospel Minute on KTLO Radio Station.
For those who knew him, reading was another passion, but greater than his passion for reading, was his passion for reaching those who did not know his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That's why he supported his mission work in Ghana, West Africa and London England.”
