Final Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for Journal of Cross-Cultural Family Studies
Authors will submit their article, an abstract, complete references, and any tables or figures. For all matters of style, manuscript submissions should follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition, 2010.
For Articles:
- Length: 20 to 25 page submission, including abstract and references
For Book Reviews:
- Review length: 2000 words maximum
- Full bibliographic information of the book reviewed should be provided at the top of the review. Use APA citation style as previously stated.
- Reviewers should include their name and institutional affiliation.
Additional Information for Authors:
- Margins are one inch all around.
- Text is double-spaced including before and after headings.
- Paragraph indentations are 5-spaces.
- Use Calibri, 12-point font.
- Avoid extraordinary stylistic devices such as templates, etc.
- Include the Abstract.
- Include Keywords.
- Use bold, underline, italics, and all caps when appropriate.
- References require in-text citations using parentheses style and inclusion in the References.
- Endnotes (superscript) may be used for short notations but are not encouraged.
- Submit using Microsoft Word.

- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; applies bold headings and subheadings; employs appropriate upper/lower case and italics in the References, rather than underlining; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in these Guidelines.
