Abstract
"The Da Vinci Code" - to some a riveting read and a fun film, but to others a thinly disguised exercise in blasphemy. Gospel of Judas - does it really support a different understanding of Jesus and his relationship with Judas? The phenomenal interest gernerated by these controversial works helps us read our culture's assumptions about Jesus, opening up opportunities for dialogue.
