Abstract
In 1994, a group of evangelical Christians leaders signed a document entitled, "An Evangelical Declaration of the Care of the Environment." This document began a broad-ranging and vigorous debate amont concervative Christians concerning faith and the environment. The issues are numerous and impact all of our lives. What does Scripture teach about the earth, its destiny and its care? What does science reveal about the state of the planet? What are the public policy issues related to environmental care? And how might churches encourage members to think about their relationship with the earth? All of these questions will be explored by our cross-disciplinary panel. Join this important discussion.
