Abstract
The church cultivates believing souls by answering compelling questions, while the artist cultivates seeing souls by raising compelling images. Is there a conflict - an identity - in the believing artist's dual relationship with the Kingdom and the "world?" How can she be true to her work and be true to the community of faith?
