Abstract
In the 1960s, campus evangelism was the most exciting and controversial movement among Churches of Christ. Led by Jim Bevis and Rex Vermillion, the short-lived ministry touched more than 40,000 students and some 400 campuses. Campus Evangelism "closed its doors" in 1970. Jim Bevis, co-founder of CE, shares his perspective of what happened.
