Abstract

There are two general views of the time time concept present in the world. The classical or Greek concept of time which is cyclical. On the other hand, the Christian view of time is that it is a straight-line and has a definite meaning.

It is the purpose of this study to consider these two views of time. Even though the Greek view is radically different from the Christian view of time, there have been several so-called Christian concepts of time which when analyzed are really the Greek view.
