Contains sermon notes, bulletins, powerpoint slides, financial information for missions, booklet of sermons by William Morrow, and correspondence during WWII.
Don Vinzant and Willard Morrow are both COC preachers
Carol Vinzant is the widow who was married to Don Vinzant
All 5 boxes were rehoused into 9 acid free boxes and maintained the original association (Box 1 rehoused in acid free box 1 and 2, Box 2 rehoused in acid free box 3 and 4, etc.). The only information rearranged was done for the sake of chronological continuity.
Box 1 - 9 folders and 3 plastic "bags" holding sermon notes from 1974 - 1982 (some missing in-between). Each folder labeled with two numbers, the year and the part of the year (1 of 2 = 1st one of that year, 2 of 2 = 2nd, etc). One of the folders was labeled "P". Box 2 - 8 folders and 4 plastic bags holding sermon notes/biblical or Christian teachings spanning from '83-'94 (some missing) small bags are from '73,'77,'78,'83 Box 3 - 9 folders spanning from '89-'99 (s.m.) all have sermon notes. After and in '96 bulletins were also places with the notes. Box 4 - 7 folders '98 - '03 containing sermon notes & bulletins Box 5 - 5 folders 2004-06 (3), Church Growth (1), Continent of Great Cities (1). 2005 folder contained powerpoint slides. Spiral "Remembering Don Eugene Vinzant" Continent of Great Cities Spring 2003 Trustee Meeting had financial information and has some relation to Larry Vinzant. This has plastic bags (5) with dates attached to it for the years '73, '78, '75, '74 This box also contained a plaque "Remember the Times" pertaining to Willard Morrow preaching or beginning to preach in 1917. A book of his sermons preached in his 20s. 3 books of written and typed sermon notes. Book of correspondence from Morrow to various MIA people (assumably members related to those lost in WWII) in the beginning half of 1945
