Abstract
We have very few accounts of enslaved Africans who transitioned from slavery to freedom and emerged as leaders in the Stone-Campbell Movement. How did Robert Cassius' experiences as a Slave affect his view of race, his view of Scripture and his relationship with whites in the Stone-Campbell movement?
