Becoming a Reviewer

Lorgnette: Quarterly Review of Children's and Young Adults' Books is interested in adding reviewers to our list. We are looking for people who:

  • love children's and YA literature;
  • can identify an item's strengths and weaknesses;
  • can give an opinion on the quality of the item and how well the age group for whom it is written might like it.

Please also note that since staff from the Heart of Texas Literature Center brings books to several locations for reviewers to check out to review, potential reviewers need to be in the current travel area served by the Center's staff.

Potential reviewers should contact the Center's director for more details.
